At the recently held CES ,WWDC too the company managed to garner quite a lot of attention particularly with its notebook portfolio. With a 3D gaming notebook in the pipeline and its innovative Wave face technology, both company sure seems to be all charged up for 2012. Here’s we listed the Upcoming Laptops in this year.

1) Asus Zenbook UX31A
The Asus Zenbooks is among the first few Ultrabooks to hit the Indian shores. Available in 11.6-inch and 13.3-inch, the Zenbook has a silver exterior panel with a concentric circle design. It has a maximum thickness of 0.67, making it the thinnest Ultrabook in the market. The US31 user Intel second-generation Core processors, SATA Revision 3.0 solid state storage of 256GB (SSD), Bluetooth V4.0 and USB 3.0.

2) HP ENVY 14 SPECTRE
Glass has never looked so good on a laptop. HP’s ENVY 14 Spectre premium consumer Ultrabook commands attention as much for its unprecedented use of glass and as its stunning performance. The Spectre uses lightweight, scratch-resistant glass on the lid, display, palmrest and HP ImagePad. The Spectre’s high-definitions Radiance Display offers top range resolution and rich colour for better brightness and wider viewing angles than traditional notebook displays. Announced at CES, it shouldn’t take long for this stunner to reach Indian stores.
3) Acer V3 series
Acer is coming up with two new laptops under its V3 series with Ivy Bridge processor. Both the laptop has similar features except the screen size – 14-inch and 15.6-inch model. Both the versions are engineered with 2.3GHz Core i7 quad-core chip, Nvidia GeForce GT 640M graphics and a 750GB HDD. Company has placed these laptops for the mainstream market by keeping an affordable price tag of around 38,000.
4) HP Pavilion dv6
HP has given Ivy Bridge treatment to their entire line of laptops. They have also included the Envy series ultrabooks in this treatment. Some of these refreshed models are yet to reach the stores and we expect that the mainstream affordable ones will be the first ones to start the shipment.
The HP Pavilion dv6 engineered with Core i7 3610QM, 2.3 GHz Processor is already available in the Indian market with a price tag of 64,999.
5) Apple Macbook Pro
Apple announced their refreshed Macbook Pro with quad-core processor and Retina Display at WWDC, 2012. The next-gen 15-inch Macbook Pro comes with the option of 2.3-GHz quad-core i7 or 2.6-GHz quad-core i7 processor and has a starting price tag of 1,60,000. Apple also upgraded the Macbook Air with Intel’s Core i5 chips, better battery life, webcam and USB ports.
